A unique joint meeting of ScarCon and ETRS.

Amsterdam bridge

Dear friends and colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we present to you our initiative for this joint meeting of ScarCon and ETRS 2018.

This congress will highlight the most recent developments on fibrosis in the widest sense possible. The co-hosts are the Global Scar Society, Scar Academy, Oscare, VU University Medical Center, Dutch Burns Foundation, Association of Dutch Burn Centres and the French Wound Healing Societies.

In 2,5 days a wide variety of lectures and hands-on workshops will be presented. You will be able to participate in workshops on scar management, clinical applications of laser, micro-needling and scar assessment techniques as well as research techniques on fibrosis.

We will also highlight developments in other areas than skin, eg. cleft lip and palate, oral wound healing, breast reconstruction after oncology etc.

It is our ambition to emphasize both clinical and preclinical developments in fibrosis and anti-fibrotic therapies. Our key note speakers will guarantee that you will be offered the latest and the best what science has to offer in these fields.

The environment of Hotel Okura will offer you an inspiring experience, and the city of Amsterdam will enchant you with charm, history and today’s and tomorrow’s highlights.
