Terms & Conditions for Scarcon ETRS 2018
These terms & conditions apply to all individually registered participants attending the International ScarCon ETRS 2018 congress, to be held in Amsterdam from May 31st – June 2nd 2018.
Only fully completed registrations will be accepted. Each participant will receive a confirmation by email of their registration and an invoice after payment has been received. If the maximum attendee capacity is reached, the congress organizers reserve the right to refuse any registration.
Registration fee includes: admission to all scientific sessions of the day, sponsored symposia, registered workshop(s), the industry exhibition, all conference material, welcome reception, certificate of attendance, coffee/tea breaks and lunch.
Following cancellation terms will be applicable:
- Until March 1st, 2018: refund of all paid fees, except for a 30% administration charge.
- After March 1st, 2018: no refunds will be made for cancellations.
Notification of cancellation or replacements requests (i.e. change of a participant) must be sent per e-mail to the Organizing Secretariat: email@example.com. All refunds will be handled after the Congress.
Cancellation of the Congress
In the event that the Congress is postponed or cancelled due to events beyond the control of the Congress organizers (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the Congress organizers, the Congress organizers cannot be held liable by participants for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation and accommodation costs, financial losses, and any other miscellaneous expenses.
Modification of the programme
The Congress organizers reserve the right to modify the programme at any time. The organizers cannot assume liability for changes in the programme due to external circumstances.
Liability and Damage
The organizers cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, loss, damage or accident to private property, or for additional expenses incurred as a result of delays or changes in air, rail, road or other services, strikes, illness, weather and other causes of the participants. Participants are requested to make their own travel and health insurance.
